Network Infrastructure
Fiber enters the Net Infrastructure IPiX facilities from multiple Local Exchange Carriers (LECs). Each of these LECs is directly connected to different Tier-1 Internet backbones using Interexchange Carrier Service (IXC). This combination provides you with a multi-homed, redundant network solution. If one fiber path is lost due to construction somewhere in your home city, our independent, multiple paths to the Internet will keep your application running smoothly. Only Tier-1 Internet providers with lower traffic are selected to minimize the hops your customers make to get to your server improving speed of access. If one of the providers experiences difficulty, traffic can be re-routed to another Tier-1 provider quickly.
